This meditation focuses your attention on your ability to call on all your own inner knowing. We take in so much information through all our senses and can only focus our attention on a sliver of it. The rest of it, which IS there, is the source of our gut feelings, what our heart says, that sense of somehow knowing without knowing how you know. People fail to trust it as a result of biases to which also sway decisions. Consider an iceberg. Above the water there is the information that you actively observe. Next level down, just below the water, there are thoughts and feeling. Deeper still, is where your attitudes values and beliefs reside. And below all that is your meta awareness, the part of you that is aware that you are aware. This is who we really are, the way it feels when you breathe in. That never changes from your first breath to your last. What if THAT was what you connected with consistently when you seek to make decisions? Intuition is simply a higher order of awareness. It is the accumulation of all the objective information you possess and hold beyond your conscious attention. You can train yourself to access this part of you consistently. This meditation guides you to focus on your Intuition, your and your Vertical Identity rather than only considering your thinking brain, filtered biases. .
